Finally, a week off.

Hey guys,

So this is going to be a short and sweet post. I mean it's not like I always post a long post however this one is going to be slightly shorter than normal. I'm basically just going to leave a little list of things that make me happy/smile  - hopefully most have a picture with them.
Anyway I hope it isn't too boring!

1. Fresh flowers.

2. A full fridge.

3. My cat - obviously.

4. Pretty clothes.

5. Exciting new trips somewhere.

6. Sunsets.

7. Finishing a book (doesn't happen very often).

8. Funny pictures with a story.

9. Fireworks.

10. Christmas!

11. Snow.

12. When my make-up and hair looks good af.

13. Shopping.

14. Waking up in a morning and being so so so comfy.

15. Being so obsessed with a TV show it's probably unhealthy...

16. Hoovering - just because I love the smell.

17. Getting a parcel/something through the post.

18. Actually getting to help chose new homeware.

19. Hearing my cat meow. (I know I have mentioned her but she's too cute.)

20. Sitting outside with close family members - especially with Conan!

21. Being home alone and being able to blast music and sing your heart out.

22. Going to the cinema.

23. A tree that has fully blossomed.

24. fresh clean sheets.

I can't really think of any more but if I do I will add them in at a later date. I think by doing a little list of some things that make you happy, can make you more positive. Just from doing this or because you know how/what makes you feel more cheerful.

DebateVlog: Sats tests!

Hey guys,

This is a different type of post but I hope you enjoy it!

Also please remember this is just my opinion, and I am not saying this should be what everyone thinks. I also respect every opinion.

I did just want to do a quick video and attach it into this post however because it ended up being nearly ten minutes long, the file is too big. So in order to actually get a post up I have had to upload it to YouTube so I will just either link it or something.

I'm sorry that this didn't turn out the way I wanted but please know I just wanted to do something a little different and a little out of my comfort zone.

Hero's.

Hey guys,

I think you all know what I am about to say; I'm not 100% sure on where this will go however I hope you all enjoy and get something from this. Whether that is some inspiration or maybe just a slight giggle.

Anyway, earlier today I was just casually laid in bed (because story of my life) browsing through facebook. Now, I can go into a deep hole by watching the videos that are suggested after you watch one - you know what I'm talking about. Well one of them really made an impact on me.

It was a compilation of clips where someone was a 'hero' to someone else. What made this special was the fact that they were total strangers. For me, I try and smile at as many people as I can when walking about in my day-to-day life. Which could just be walking to the shop, or in town shopping. However, not many people pay attention to you. So when I saw the video of these people helping others they didn't even know, I basically just sat and kept saying 'awwww' and putting my hand on my heart. My faith in humanity is restored, thank the lord.

There were videos of people saving dogs' lives. A bus driver stopped to prevent someone from committing suicide, and one also got impaled but kept driving until it was okay to stop so the passengers were safe. Helping elderly cross busy roads and helping a blind man who thought he was on the pavement but was on the road. It was so heart warming.

I wish that one day I have the same impact.

As I hope you do. I mean, not necessarily a hero with a cape and all. But more like just doing good deeds whenever possible. Because why not? Smile at someone you don't know, just to make their day. If someone is struggling, help them.

I don't really know who else to call a hero other than my mum. She is one of the strongest people I know. She has so much to deal with yet still manages to keep me very happy. She does so much for nothing in return and her kindness is priceless.

I don't exactly know what else to say or how to end this but I hope you all want to do something good with your time. Please.
I hope you all have an amazing week.

Friday, 6th May, 2016.

Hey guys.

This post is going to be a bit more meaningful and sad. I would say I'm sorry but honestly, I think it will be nice to spill all my thoughts on this subject as I don't really open up to anyone about this. You're lucky if I do.
I don't really like talking about this to my parents as they were also affected and I don't want to make them upset by bringing it back up.

So let's actually talk about what has happened.

Today is the one year anniversary of my uncle. He had a sudden death, although, sudden is an understatement.

This time last year I was so excited for prom that I didn't really think of anything else. Except for all the exams obviously. You never expect something like this. He was meant to see me at prom. But obviously didn't, this is what makes me most sad.
However last year it would've been a Wednesday. Which used to be the day (along with Saturday) that my cousins came round and I saw my uncle. So technically this time last year I was supposed to see him.

I had to stay after school for maths on this day. Well, I wanted to just because I like maths and the teacher. All we did was have a laugh and did some exam preparation for an hour. Everything was dandy. A bunch of LOLs and Becky complainig about trigonometry or Pythagoras, I don't really remember what it was at the time. But then one of the teachers came in and said that my mum was at reception destraught thinking that my mum didn't know where I was or something. Well it definitely wasn't the case. My mum took me outside to the car where my sister and her boyfriends brother were (he was driving) and wouldn't tell me anything until I got home.
Obviously the ride home was terrifying. I had no idea. At first I thought maybe something had happened to my momma. Boy was I wrong.

When my mum told me, I think I just went into shock as I just said 'Oh..'. Then went upstairs and was devastated.
Honestly it didn't really sink in until a couple of weeks ago. In my head it was just like he was on holiday or back with someone he was seeing. I remember at one time someone who had the same car pulled up outside my house and I got excited like it was just all a dream.
Obviously I knew, but it was just wishful thinking and a distraction.

Anyway. I was really close to Peter. He lived with us for a couple years so obviously I was used to him being here. He was such a laugh, when he wasn't complaining - which he did quite a bit actually. And smoke. He was the worst smoker I've ever met. A 'chain smoker'. You could always tell when he had been just because the smell would linger a hell of a lot. And I guess I miss it.

For a while everything has just linked to him. I was at my local pub watching a singer and one of the songs just cracked me. Just because when I heard it, I remember him singing/shouting it at the top of his voice in our kitchen, drunk. I will always remember moments like that. And all the times he has helped me in situations. They all mean so much to me and I wish I could just give him a hug. All I can advise is that you don't take anyone for granted. Personally I like to thing I don't do this, however if you haven't today, tell your parents, siblings, cousins, distant relatives or friends that you love them. As they may not be there forever.

In memory of Peter, we have made a rockery in our garden. It looks amazing to be honest. My dad got some big stone thingys and made a little space. I planted some flowers and included some solor panel lights. It looks quite beautiful. I will add the photo tomorrow so be sure to check this post again. But we wanted this rockery to be completed for today because of obvious reasons. And luckily we did it, ready for the BBQ we had. Samantha and Lee came round along with my two cousins. It was really nice. And it was a lovely way to finish the day off. So thank you, if any of you are reading this.

I don't really know what else to say other than that I really miss you Peter, and wish I could've had one last hug. Hope your having a good time up there.

That's it for this post I think. When adding some photos tommorrow, I may add something else but that is highly unlikely as I'm just too lazy. Obviously this is classed as this weeks post so I hope you all have a smashing week and I'll hopefully have a happier post for you next Sunday. I love you all.

My Spring Make-up Look.

Hey guys,

So, before I get into it, I would just like to say that I am not 100% about this post. I have just done my makeup for this idea which Lia suggested (thank you) but there's something about it that doesn't seem right. I don't know, maybe I have missed something but its weird. Also this is going to be a spring look as you know, we are in spring, unless you live in the UK. Whereas it has been Spring, Summer and Winter all in one day - fun. However I must warn you that I couldn't decide on two lipsticks so the pictures may have a slight difference in them. But hey ho. This post shall be posted. Honestly I don't even know if any of that made sense. If it doesn't, blame it on the fact that I am distracted by Jaffa cakes and Netflix.

Now, if you consistently read my posts, you should know all of my favourite and most used make-up by now. And that is really all I use so I apologise if you are sick of hearing about these products.

To start off with for my face I like to use the Rimmel London, Lasting Finish Primer, Rimmel London, Lasting Finish Foundation and (you guessed it) the Rimmel London, Lasting Finish Match Perfection, 2 in 1 concealer. I have no idea how I have ended up with all the Rimmel products however they work for me and I guess that's all that matters. I personally like to put the primer on first, then foundation, then concealer. Sometimes concealer under foundation - depending on my mood. I know I'm no expert that's why I am just rolling with it, learning as I go. But that is just how I like to do it. Also this concealer is my ultimate favourite mainly because it brightens as well as conceals (even though it is the same shade as my foundation) which is always handy. Then I just use a cheap powder - I haven't really tried many but I just use a collection one. Then to contour I love the Maybelline Master Sculpt contouring pallet. I have only ever tried this one so if there are other good ones let me know! I do like this pallet however I wouldn't say the highlighter is worth it.

For my eye I mainly use Maybelline, The Blushed Nudes pallet. Although each shade is slowly breaking and disappearing which breaks my heart. In my everyday look I normally reach for the darkest shade which is like a dark grey for my outer corner and one of the lightest shimmery shades for the rest of the lid. However recently I have been going more pinky with the colours as this is more spring appropriate. So I started off with those, but towards the end I decided the lip colour slightly clashed with it (I don't really know what im saying) so I added some of the dark grey shade to the corners and I guess it works.
For eyeliner I like to use the Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner. Which I swear by. And then finally I use the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara on the top and bottom lashes. I must say that I normally do the primer, with some concealer on my lids and then do this step as winged eyeliner can sometimes take several attempts which leaves you with wasted foundation.
I like my eyebrows to look natural so I use the Soap and Glory, archery brow tint and precision shaping pencil. I have the dark chocolate shade and it is the perfect match for me. I am still quite new to it however I don't think I do too bad. To finish I just use a clear brow gel to keep the shape of them the way I like.
My lipstick varies however I either use Boujois, Rouge Edition velvet, liquid lipsticks in 'Don't Pink of it', or 'Nude-ist'. I love both of these shades for the look however I couldn't decide which works better with the eyeshadow. I will leave you to judge that.

I think that is everything that I use. I now realise this would be easier as a video however I don't really like uploading to YouTube. So I guess you readers are stuck with me, Lucky devils. I will include a few pictures of the look where there will be a variety as I couldn't decide between two lipsticks as I have previously mentioned. Enjoy me posing awkwardly. :)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, if you didn't there is more of a meaningful/emotional post next week. Which may be posted a little earlier - on the Friday to be exact. The reason will become clear in the post. But until then my friends, have a great bank holiday! I love you all.
